Stefano Lubiana Primavera Pinot Noir 2024 is a vibrant Tasmanian Pinot Noir combining generous berry fruit with fine structure. Sourced from the family's Granton and Cradoc vineyards in the Derwent and Huon valleys, it brings cool-climate freshness and savoury detail to an inviting, food-friendly style.
- Aromas: Cherry, raspberry and strawberry, with mulberry and gentle baking spice.
- Palate: Juicy berry flavours, a generous middle palate and fine, firm tannins, finishing with freshness and lingering spice.
- Style: Medium-bodied, dry and expressive, balancing youthful fruit with the structure to develop in bottle.
- Winemaking: Hand-picked fruit, partly wild fermented with a mix of whole bunches and destemmed berries. Gently basket pressed and matured in French oak before bottling in February 2025.
- Cellaring: Enjoy now or cellar for further development. Store in a cool, dark location.
- Food Pairing: Roast duck, herb-roasted chicken, grilled salmon or mushroom risotto.
A versatile Pinot Noir to open over dinner with friends, with enough depth to make a simple meal feel special.
Stefano Lubiana
Stefano Lubiana is one of Tasmania’s leading biodynamic producers, with a winemaking heritage that spans six generations, beginning in Italy in the 1800s. Established in 1990 by Steve Lubiana, the estate sits on a prized north-facing site in Granton in the Derwent Valley.
As Tasmania’s first certified biodynamic vineyard, the estate has been farmed according to these principles since 2010, with a focus on sustainability, low-yielding vines, and minimal intervention in the winery.
The wines are a pure expression of place—defined by precision, elegance, and the unmistakable character of Tasmania’s cool-climate vineyards.
