Nocturne Wilson SV (Single Vineyard) Chardonnay 2024 is a precise, expressive single-vineyard Chardonnay from Wallcliffe in Margaret River, Western Australia. Crafted by Julian Langworthy, it combines fragrant fruit with mineral freshness, supple texture and beautifully controlled power.
- Aromas: White nectarine and citrus blossom mingle with lemon zest, grapefruit and subtle flinty notes.
- Palate: Juicy stone fruit and citrus are carried by bright acidity, with delicate nutty lees character and gently spicy oak. A saline mineral edge brings definition to the long finish.
- Style: A dry, refined Chardonnay that balances generous fruit with freshness, tension and finesse.
- Winemaking: Handpicked fruit was chilled overnight and whole-bunch pressed directly into French oak puncheons for spontaneous fermentation. Matured on lees and bottled in December 2024, with approximately 20% new oak in the final blend.
- Cellaring: Enjoy now or cellar for further development. Store in a cool, dark location. Serve lightly chilled and allow time in the glass to reveal its layers.

Nocturne
Nocturne is the husband-and-wife partnership of Julian Langworthy and Alana, crafting highly awarded, site-driven wines from exceptional vineyards in Margaret River.
Julian, a Margaret River native, is widely recognised as one of Australia’s leading winemakers, with accolades including Winemaker of the Year in the 2019 Halliday Wine Companion and the Jimmy Watson Trophy. Together, they focus on sourcing outstanding fruit, including from their own Sheoak Vineyard, known for its mature Cabernet vines.
The range is divided into Single Vineyard (SV) and Sub Regional (SR) wines. The SV wines are precise, powerful expressions of exceptional sites, produced in limited quantities, while the SR range offers a more approachable, vibrant style.
