The story of Fasoli Gino began in 1925 in the Illasi Valley, east of Verona, when Amadio Fasoli sold wine locally from a horse-drawn cart. Four generations later, the family remains closely connected to those farming roots. Its vineyards and wines explore the diversity of the Verona area, from Garganega-based whites to the Corvina-led traditions of Valpolicella, alongside international varieties such as Merlot. The estate’s enduring interest is how to combine generous flavour with a thoughtful approach to the land.
Organic farming became a defining commitment in the 1980s, long before it was commonplace, and the family subsequently adopted biodynamic and regenerative practices. In the cellar, its range moves from approachable everyday wines to ambitious expressions such as Alteo Amarone and the Merlot Orgno. The drying of grapes, a hallmark of the region, brings added concentration to selected bottlings. Fasoli Gino’s reputation is closely associated with this early organic commitment and its expressive Verona wines: a family legacy that continues to evolve while preserving the warmth and practical wisdom of its beginnings.
NB: You can also explore wines by Tasi - a special project that was created by 3 winemakers from Fasoli Gino.
