Cherubino Wines - Folklore Cabernet Merlot
After years working globally as a consulting winemaker, Larry Cherubino returned to Western Australia to build his own label alongside his wife, Edwina. While Larry is first generation, Edwina’s family has deep roots in the Frankland River region, with vines planted as early as 1875.
Starting with a single wine in 2005, Cherubino Wines has grown into one of Western Australia’s most respected producers, spanning key regions including Margaret River and the Great Southern, with a focus on purity, balance, and elegance.
Larry’s achievements include over 60 trophies and 250 gold medals, along with a 5-star rating from James Halliday and accolades such as Winery of the Year and Best Value Winery.
The Folklore Cabernet Merlot is a classic Margaret River blend—smooth, balanced, and expressive, with depth of flavour and an easy, refined drinkability.
