Giaconda Wines

Few names in Australian wine carry the reverence of Giaconda. Founded by Rick Kinzbrunner in 1982 after formative years working in Napa Valley and Bordeaux — with wineries including Stags Leap and Château Pétrus — the estate has been the pursuit of a single, unwavering goal: vinous excellence in the Beechworth region.

A devotee of great Burgundy, Kinzbrunner is best known for a Chardonnay of remarkable power and finesse — widely considered among the very few New World examples capable of standing alongside the great Crus of Burgundy. Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo complete a portfolio of exceptional depth.
